• Numerous Safety Awards
• All co-workers receive safety orientation upon hire
• All co-workers are CPR trained yearly
• All co-workers are First Aid trained every three years
• All co-workers are Drug Free Workplace trained yearly
• All co-workers receive Hazard Communication training yearly
• Other safety training offered at random dates include lift training, fire extinguisher, forklift, powder actuated tools, scaffold competent person, excavation competent person, etc.
• HVAC is a Tennessee Drug Free Workplace
• Safety inspections are conducted at random by Priscilla Ward, Administrative Manager, Tom Fritz, Mechanical Field Operations, Clyde Nelson, Electrical Field Operations, Jim Rhinehardt, AGC Safety Director, and Russ Townsend, Shafer Insurance Manager of Safety Services
• A Safety Committee is established
• A safety incentive program is presently being instituted
